Since 1992, the Kiwanis Harbor Party and Seafood Feast has been held in downtown Norfolk. Sponsored by the Norfolk Kiwanis Club, the event attracts thousands of hungry and politically astute Hampton Roads citizens there to sample several varieties of fresh fish and seafood, meet General Assembly members and hopefuls, buy items in the Harbor Party Silent Auction and enjoy each other's company.
